We provide mediation services for all disputes, but primarily work with individuals in family law matters who are either anticipating filing a court action or who are presently involved in litigation concerning divorce, child custody and support, spousal maintenance, and property and debt division, paternity and modification of prior decrees.  We work with clients who represent themselves as well as those who are represented by lawyers.

Layne Davis is a licensed attorney and mediator who works with couples to find a mutually agreed upon solution to resolve such matters in a way where the parties maintain control and typically do so at a much lower cost than litigation.

Mediated solutions are often a faster way to settle disputes and is a more peaceful alternative to court assisted outcomes. Mediation is not for everybody, but for most cases, it is an effective alternative to the expense and uncertainty of litigation. We do not force people to settle legal disputes, as some disputes simply require court intervention. However, we do encourage people to exhaust remedies in alternative dispute resolution before going to court.
